The Eastern Cape is South Africa’s second largest province and one of the most abundant wildlife areas in the country, boasting a plethora of game species for trophy hunting. The variety ranges from buck like the beautiful Cape Eland, to smaller species like the Blue Duiker. Within this region there are thirty-five species which are legally approved for hunting.
The flying time from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to the coastal city of Port Elizabeth is approximately 1h40mins. Our ground crew will greet guests in PE and assist them onwards to their respective camps.
While the Eastern Cape offers a temperate climate for most of the year, the southern hemisphere summer months from November to February can be extremely hot and dry, particularly in the semi-desert of the Karoo. For the remaining eight months of the year, the region provides a comfortable hunting climate.
The terrain in the Eastern Cape is as diverse as the wildlife. With a long, rugged coastline to the east, the inland mountainous landscape of the southern Drakensberg, and wide vast plains of the Great Karoo, and not forgetting the magnificent scenery.
